WILL THIS CAR LIFT FIT IN MY GARAGE?
The main consideration in deciding if the Eagle GLO-7000 car lift will fit in your garage is knowing the height of your cars along with the height of the garage ceiling. We have a simple math formula below will help you in your calculations. (Additionally, consider the space needed, if any, for the garage to open/close and access to the garage door opener if applicable.)
Add the height of both cars together along with an additional 8 inches. The sum must be less than the ceiling height for the car lift to fit in your garage.
This Eagle car lift has a post height of 84” on the 7000 car lift and 92” on the 7000XLT car lift.
(A) Height Car #1________ (plus +) (B) Height Car #2 ________ (plus +)
(C) Track thickness & Clearance total: ___8”___ Equals = (D) Total height: ________
(E) Ceiling height: ________
“E” measurement must be equal to or greater than “D” measurement.
The car lift will require a maximum clearance underneath of 70” on the 7000 model and 77” on the 7000XLT model when positioned on the highest safety lock. The lower vehicle must be less than 70” for the 7000 model or 77” for the XLT model. The upper vehicle must be lower than your ceiling height less 74” for the 7000 or 81” for the 7000XLT.
