Automania Picture Cars, in Oakland, California, has supplied picture cars for the filming industry since 1982. Their warehouse is full of classic beauties like police cars, hearses, farm trucks, muscle cars, convertibles and cars with tailfins … it is simply amazing!
Bill Silveira, the founder of Automania, recently investigated alternative ways to store their vehicles in a compact and safe solution. “I’m not the type of guy who generally lays down and buys the first thing I see; we’ve all heard horror stories about dealing with fly-by-night outfits” he says. “In this case I spent a good month comparing companies, their ratings and their products.”
Bill decided to do business with Eagle Equipment and ended up purchasing more storage lifts than initially thought, “After talking with numerous companies that sell automotive storage lifts, I chose Eagle because their sales representative was polite and knowledgeable about their product and their prices were very competitive.”
After purchasing 48 Eagle GLO-8000 XLT Storage Lifts (that’s enough storage for 96 cars), Bill needed some help with the assembly. “I had no prior experience in the assembly of automotive lifts so it meant a lot that Eagle’s customer service department was extremely helpful in answering all of my technical questions and was able to walk me through the assembly procedure over the phone.”
“If I ever need another product that Eagle Equipment carries I wouldn’t think twice before buying from them again,” Bill says. “I just can’t fit any more of these lifts in my warehouse!”
